Brian and I were super stars tonight. I had never been to the Shakespeare’s Tavern before. Brian had an extra ticket so he to see Lettice and Lovage.
We got seated in the front and were even recruited to get on stage. That was really cool. I wasn’t too fond of the salad they serve. The use weird greenery. Its not romaine or iceberg, etc. But that’s okay the main course was good.
I shocked Brian when we left the parking garage that night. He attempted to leave out of the unattended credit card exit. It took his money but never let us out. He was starting to get upset and I calmed him down. When we left, he said, “She wouldn’t have been so calm. She would have been screaming.” Who is “she”? ….the ex. Well, that’s why he was at the play with me.
